jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
In this article, we will be using the jQuery Mobile selectmenu Widget closeText Option to set the text of the close button that is helpful for translating this into different languages. The close button is displayed as an icon-only button by default, so the text isn’t visible on-screen. It accepts string type value and its default value is “Close”.

Syntax:

$( ".selector" ).selectmenu({
    closeText: "Fermer"
});

CDN Link: First, add jQuery Mobile scripts needed for your project.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”//code.jquery.com/mobile/1.5.0-alpha.1/jquery.mobile-1.5.0-alpha.1.min.css”>
<script src=”//code.jquery.com/jquery-3.2.1.min.js”></script>
<script src=”//code.jquery.com/mobile/1.5.0-alpha.1/jquery.mobile-1.5.0-alpha.1.min.js”></script>
