Ingram Micro Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2022-23

It was a 2-day process.

Day 1:

• Pre-placement talk
• Aptitude Test
• Technical interview

Day 2:

• Managerial interview
• HR interview
• LOI distribution

Aptitude Test: MCQ questions are:

• Logical reasoning – blood relation, arrangements, coding & decoding, statement & conclusion
• Quants – percentage, ratio
• Verbal – paragraphs, fill in the blanks
• SQL – for the given requirement in the question we have to choose the correct SQL query from the options

Suggestion: Practice Logical reasoning, Data interpretation, and Verbal questions from GFG, IndiaBix, Testbook & Career Ride.

Technical Interview: Questions were asked from 5 different subjects and they are:

• DBMS (SQL & HTML):
• Write SQL query for given problem statement.
• Write HTML layout.
• What is DOCTYPE in HTML

OOPs:

• What are Inheritance and its types
• What is Polymorphism
• What is Encapsulation
• What is Abstraction

DSA:

• What is array
• What is a link list and circular link list
• What is stack

Networking:

• How is data received from the internet in detail (explain it in brief along with all the protocols used in it)
• Computer Organization:
• What is virtual memory
• What is cache memory

Suggestion: Thoroughly study concepts of DBMS, Web dev languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), DSA, OOPS, Networking, Computer Organization, Python, and JAVA. Also, go through your resume once as 90% of questions are asked from your resume.

Managerial Interview: Questions are:

• Introduce yourself
• I mentioned trekking in my resume so the interviewer asked me where did I go for a trek.
• Questions on my project (since I was the group leader so how did I manage clashes in my group and time management)

Suggestion: Confidently answer all the questions. Keep a light smile on your face.

HR Interview: Questions are:

• Introduce yourself.
• My achievements other than those mentioned in my resume
• Who is my role model and why?

On the second day, we got our results. 12 people were selected and I was one of them. All the selected students got LOI and Ingram goodies which included a jute bag, a personalized Ingram mug, and a chocolate hamper.
