Micro Focus hire for 2 roles: Developer and QA

Round 1: First round was the HackerEarth test. There were 50 MCQ’s which included Aptitude and Logical questions and 1 coding question on binary trees.

Out of around 200 students, 31 were shortlisted from my college.

Interview 1: First interview was technical cum fitment interview. I was asked many scenario-based questions and some python questions(depends on which language you mention in your resume).

Coding Round: Next round was coding round on HackerEarth. 

• I was asked 2 coding questions in 1 hour. Both were mathematical questions but any topics could be asked depending on interviewer. 
• You need to explain your thought process well even if you are not able to get the output of the program. 
• Don’t give up and keep trying till you get it as you have one hour. 
• This round is the most important as your role will be determined here. If you perform extremely well you will be given DEV role.

Hiring Manager Round: Next round was hiring manager round, here your communication skills are important and many out of syllabus technical questions will be asked. Be prepared for any kind of questions, it all depends on your interviewer.

HR Round: Final round was HR round, kind of a formality round for 10 to 15 mins. If you have reached till here your place is all but guaranteed.
