Infosys Interview Experience for System Engineer

I applied through InfyTQ 2022 and was given the opportunity for an interview for the System Engineer role. During the interview, there was a single interviewer present who asked a combination of both technical and HR-related questions.
Interview date: 5 June 2022
Interview duration: 20-29 minutes
Interview level: easy
Questions asked:
- Introduce yourself
- Show me your ID card
- Sit straight, I need to capture a snap of yours
- Rate yourself in c/c++ and Python (i mentioned in my resume) on a scale of 1-10
- Explain your recent project in detail
- Difference between c and c++
- SQL command to fetch records
- Types of databases you have worked with
- 2 to 3 questions on GCP (I mentioned in my resume)
Cloud computing, models, types, cloud cloud-native ,cloud native application, how helps cloud to IT companies
- How many types of data structures
- Tree data structure basic
Unfortunately, I did not pass the second round, but I was selected for the system engineer role interview. Overall, I felt prepared for the questions asked and received positive feedback from the interviewer, who wished me all the best with a smile. I am currently waiting for the results and will update you once I know more

- Section I: Java/Python Hands-on Coding – 2 questions (180 minutes combined)
- Section II: Java/Python MCQ – 10 questions (180 minutes combined)
- Section III: DBMS MCQ – 10 questions (180 minutes combined)
Round 2: Advantage Round
- Section I: Java/Python Hands-on Coding (Question 1) – 1 question (180 minutes combined)
- Section II: Java/Python Hands-on Coding (Question 2) – 1 question (180 minutes combined)
- Section III: Java/Python Hands-on Coding (Question 3) – 1 question (180 minutes combined)
