I recently had the opportunity to interview for the position of Business Analyst at Infosys. The entire interview process was well-structured and comprised multiple rounds, including technical assessments and face-to-face interviews.

Round 1: Online Aptitude Test

The first round of the interview process was an online aptitude test conducted on Infosys’s platform. The test included questions related to logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability. The questions were challenging but manageable with sufficient preparation. The test aimed to assess my analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to communicate effectively.

Round 2: Technical Interview

After successfully clearing the aptitude test, I moved on to the technical interview round. The interview was conducted virtually through video conferencing. The interviewer was an experienced professional from Infosys’s Business Analyst team.

The interview began with a discussion about my background, education, and previous work experience. The interviewer then asked me technical questions related to business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management. They also evaluated my knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies.

During the interview, the interviewer presented me with a case study based on a fictional business scenario. I was required to analyze the situation, identify the key business requirements, and propose a suitable solution. The interviewer assessed my problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and ability to apply business analysis concepts to practical situations.

Round 3: HR Interview

Upon successfully clearing the technical interview, I proceeded to the final round, which was the HR interview. The HR interviewer aimed to assess my communication skills, personality, and cultural fit within Infosys.

The HR interview began with a discussion about my career aspirations, reasons for choosing business analysis, and my understanding of the role. The interviewer also asked questions about my previous experience working in teams, handling conflicts, and managing stakeholders. They also inquired about my flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and domains.

The HR interview was conversational in nature, and the interviewer created a comfortable environment to express my thoughts and experiences. I had the opportunity to ask questions about the company culture, growth opportunities, and work-life balance at Infosys.

Overall, the interview experience at Infosys was rigorous yet engaging. The interviewers were knowledgeable and supportive, providing valuable feedback and guidance throughout the process. I felt that the interviews effectively assessed my skills and suitability for the Business Analyst role. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute my expertise to Infosys if given the chance.
