• Canceling less than five weeks ahead of the test date means you won’t receive any refund.
• Failing to appear for the test also counts as a cancellation, with no refund provided.
• However, if you provide a medical certificate within 5 days of the test date, you may be eligible for a refund after deducting the local administrative costs.

IELTS Exam Fees 2024: Rescheduling Fees

To reschedule your IELTS test date, follow these steps:

• Step 1 Request rescheduling at least five weeks before your booked test date.
• Step 2 Choose a new test date within three months of the original date.
• Step 3 Pay an administrative charge of Rs 3,300, inclusive of all taxes, for the date transfer.
• Step 4 Note that you can reschedule your exam only once.
• Step 5 If you fail to take the test on the second date, you won’t receive any refund or further rescheduling options.

IELTS Exam Fees 2024: Rechecking Fees

If you are unhappy with your IELTS results, you can request a recheck by paying the IELTS rechecking fee. In India, the fee varies based on the test type. For IELTS, Computer-delivered IELTS, and IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration, the fee is INR 11,625. For IELTS Life Skills (A1 and B1), it’s INR 10,450.
