The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a popular system in India for making instant money transfers through mobile apps. Google Pay, one of the leading payment apps in the country, allows you to use UPI for transactions. To send or receive money using UPI, you’ll need your UPI ID, which acts like a unique virtual address. This article guides you on how to find your UPI ID on the Google Pay app.

Steps to Find Your UPI ID in Google Pay

  1. Open the Google Pay app on your smartphone.
  2. Tap on your profile picture located in the top right corner of the app’s home screen.
  3. From the menu, select “Bank account”.
  4. You will see a list of bank accounts linked to your Google Pay. Choose the specific bank account whose UPI ID you want to find.
  5. Under the selected bank account details, look for the section labeled “UPI IDs”. Your UPI ID will be displayed here.

Additional Information

  • You can have multiple UPI IDs linked to the same bank account in Google Pay. This allows you to choose the preferred UPI ID for transactions.
  • If you haven’t created a UPI ID yet, Google Pay also provides an option to create a new one within the “Manage UPI IDs” section mentioned in step 4.
