Admission:

Through Class 12 board exam marks. On the MAKAUT university level, a Common Entrance Test (CET) was conducted containing basic aptitude and English questions, so easy that even a Class-8 student can solve it.

Campus:

The hostel facility is there only for girls, not boys. Nonvegetarian food is given less. Honestly, the number of books in the library is not sufficient for a BCA student. A lot of important topics in books are not there. Overall campus is clean and well-maintained.

Fees:

(All figures as of 2022, the year I passed out) ~3.5 lakhs for college. For hostelers, a fixed mess charge of ~2000 rupees is there. 5000 rupees hostel fee is there for hostels Ramachandra and Swaraj. For all rest hostels, 4500 rupees hostel fee is charged. A lot of Paying Guest accommodations are there outside the campus, so fret not if you don’t get a hostel seat.

Classes:

Mostly regular in the morning hours. Official college timings are from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Classes are regular initially, and as months go on in the semester, a few teachers don’t show up for classes.

No coding club is there, unfortunately, and in all 3 years of college, no hackathon was conducted.

Placements:

On-campus placements are decently good, the average package is ~3 LPA. A lot of my classmates got placed on campus at Deloitte.

Faculty:

Like all colleges, some teachers are good, and teach well. Some don’t.

Overall verdict – 3.5 out of 5 stars
