Dr. Dy Patil Institute Of Technology Campus Experience

Hii! I am a student in the third year E&TC department at Dr. Dy Patil Institute Of Technology which is in the Pimpri neighborhood of Pune. Our college was started in 1983 and it is the oldest in DY Patil Group Of Institutions. Our institute offers 9 Undergraduate Programs including programs in emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Automation, and Robotics, and 5 PG programs.

I was admitted to the college through CET because my JEE score was not good but it’s syllabus helped me in the preparation of CET. When I came to college for the first time I saw that it had good infrastructure and well-maintained classrooms, washrooms, and labs as well. Labs are well equipped with modern technology and recently one of our department’s labs has got an ARM certification that we can use arm-based software through its license for developing various embedded system applications as well. Recently 6-7 months we have also got our canteen space as well. Seniors are supportive in our college.

Talking about placements good no of students have been placed in companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and core companies such as Royal Enfield, Mahindra Automotives, and Tata Motors as well. Our college also takes the initiative for internships and Training for placements. Recently our college has started lectures for Training Aptitude Tests so as to get exposure to the tests that are taken during selection in companies.
