Both rice and wheat are members of the cereal group, and both are scientific names is that wheat (Triticum spp.) and rice (Oryza sativa). Rice and wheat have different sensory and nutritional properties and perform different functions in the human body. In this article, we are examining the differences between rice and wheat.

Rice consists of all beneficial minerals which are nutritious to human health such as- zinc, iron, copper, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and manganese, and also consists of  Vitamin E.

Rice can be divided into three types based on kernel size: long-grain rice, medium-grain rice, and short-grain rice. Rough rice, brown rice, and white rice are the three into which it is divided based on the style of milling used. Low-calorie, low-carb, and low-fat regimens benefit from rice.

Wheat is a member of cereal grain. Wheat is one of the earliest and most important cereal crops. Wheat is the second most essential cereal crop in India after rice and maize. Wheat is also known as Triticum aestivum. In the world, Wheat is the primary source of protein in the human diet and consists of a higher amount of protein compared to other staple cereals like maize or rice. Wheat is mainly food that is used to produce much products

It only consists of 11% of water and also consists of vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B5, and Vitamin B6, Wheat consists of one or more essential amino acids such as tryptophan, and histidine. Also depending on genetic traits, wheat can be categorized into three types is that diploid, tetraploid, and hexaploidy
