Peloton and Echelon are two such brands especially for home exercise. These are the brands of exercise bikes that are quite popular among people.

What is Peloton?

It is a company which is popular as an exercise equipment company. The Peloton Bike and Bike+ are popular bicycles of this company. This company was launched in 2012 with the aim of making people fit and healthy in the comfort of their homes.

Features of Peloton

It is an exercise equipment company popular for its connected bikes such as the GT+, EX-5, EX-5s, and EX-8s. These bicycles offer a touch screen and a sound system which makes it quite affordable for people who enjoy cycling and do not want to spend extras on these things.

Features of Echelon

  • One can sync the data with third-party apps like Apple Health, Strava, Fitbit, and Zwift.
  • One can wear cycling shoes as well as regular shoes while cycling as the pedals of this bike is dual-sided.
  • Via the Echelon app, one can connect and stream entertainment from Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and Samsung.

Limitations of Echelon

  • The warranty is not as long as the warranty some other brands offer.
  • The resistance level of these bikes is less as compared to other companies’ bikes.
  • Customer’s service facility is not good as there are many complaints regarding this from the user.

Sound System The modern version of these bikes has 26-watt front-facing stereo speakers and rear-facing woofers. The modern version of the Echelon Connect EX-5s and EX-8s include two 5-watt front-facing speakers.
Use Touch-screen displays are easy to use and navigate but sometimes there are some issues with connectivity. Users find it easy to set up and use the EX-5s and EX-8s models.

Peloton bikes offer more resistance levels. However, the base model does not include monthly all-access membership fees while Echelon bikes offer a wide variety of bikes and are budget-friendly.
