It is a fully managed relational database engine from Amazon Web Services that is compatible with PostgreSQL and MySQL. It is up to five times faster than standard MySQL databases and three times faster than standard PostgreSQL databases. The features of Aurora are distributed, fault-tolerant and self-healing storage systems.
2. Amazon SimpleDB :
It is a hosted simple database service by Amazon, with the data stored in the Amazon Cloud. It is Amazon is a web service for running queries on structured data in real-time. This database is written in Erlang by Amazon.com. It has the following features – high availability and flexibility, with little or no administrative burden.
