Cognizant GENC Elevate Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Cognizant visited our campus on August 2022 for GENC and GENC Elevate. First, we had to register on the Superset platform by filling in our education details and resume. One has to choose between GENC and GENC-Elevate. I chose GENC Elevate.

Round 1- After resume shortlisting, we got an e-mail from the college regarding the OA round. As I preferred Elevate. My test consisted of 2 SQL questions and 3 coding questions. SQL questions were easy. Out of 3 coding questions, 1 was easy and the other 2 were medium level. I solved 2 SQL questions and 1 coding question(including all test cases) in JAVA. Then I got selected for the next round.

Round2-It was a communication round. It is compulsory but not an elimination round. It was an easy round just to check students’ listening and speaking and comprehension skills.

Round3-It was a technical interview that lasted for around 45 minutes.

• 2 easy SQL Queries
• Difference between HashMap and HashSet.
• What are the primary key, candidate key, and super key?

• Few HR Questions like location preference
• Are you comfortable working different shifts?
