Celigo Interview Experience for SDE-1 2022

Recently Celigo visited our campus for an SDE-1 profile.

There were 4 rounds int total.

First Round: The first one was an online screening round consisting a mix bag of mcqs and coding question. The MCQs covered each aspect like cs fundamentals,programming questions.

Around 160+ students appeared for the test and around 30 were shortlied for next round.

Second Round: The next round focused on DSA skills.I was asked 2 DSA question.

One of them was first missing positive integer from unsorted array and second one was to find an intersection point of two linked lists. I was asked to discuss all the approaches along with time and space complexity and code the most optimised approach.I was able to code both within an hour.

The interviewer was very helpful and guided me at every point. I was shortlisted for the next round.

Third Round: This round started with an introduction of mine post which interviewer jumped up to discuss my projects which lasted for about 15 minutes. Then she asked 2 coding questions.

The first one was an advanced version of weighted job scheduling and second one was house robber along with its second variation. I was again expected to discuss all the approaches and code the most optimised one.I was able to do so by discussing the time and space complexity of each approach.

I was shortlisted for the next round.

Fourth Round: The next round was a 1 hour round and was taken by the senior engineering manager. The entire round focussed on my projects discussion to the very depth.

The interviewer also mixed system design aspects also.I was asked to explain my approach to certain manipulations in my projects architecture.I was able to have a fruitful discussion and the interviewer also wanted to focus on my approach to take up new problems and develop solutions by looking up on various possible Intuitions.

I was shortlisted for the next round which was the HR around.

HR Round: This round lasted for about 30 minutes where HR asked me questions like my inclination toward higher studies and relocation. Later that day we were communicated by the TAP cell about the final selects.
