Atlassian Women in Tech

Atlassian Women in Tech programme aims to encourage and help women in technology by providing mentorship, networking opportunities, and skill development tools. Atlassian is also committed to improving female workforce representation with a target of having 50% women in tech professions by 2025. Atlassian is improving the lives of women in technology and building a more inclusive digital industry through university alliances, internship opportunities, and a friendly workplace culture. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be pursuing a BE/B.TECH degree
  • Candidate must come from CSE, ECE, EE, EEE, IT, Mathematics & Computing background
  • Candidate must have 7 CGPA or above (average for 4 semesters)
  • No backlogs should be there

Rounds

1. HackerRank Test (90 minutes)

The HackerRank test is an online coding assessment that evaluates a candidate’s coding skills programming concepts, data structures and algorithms, and problem-solving abilities. This test consists of multiple-choice questions, coding problems, and algorithmic challenges.

Tips to succeed in this round:

  • Practice coding questions consistently
  • Read the problem carefully

2. Coding Interview (60 minutes)

The coding interview is a face-to-face or virtual interview that assesses a candidate’s technical skills and problem-solving approach in a more in-depth manner. The interviewer may present a coding problem or ask the candidate to explain a specific coding concept or algorithm. The candidate is expected to clearly communicate their thought process, write well-structured code, and debug any errors effectively.

Tips to succeed in this round:

  • Explain your thought process to the interviewer.
  • Test your code thoroughly to show attention to detail.

3. Management & Values Interview (45 minutes)

In a management interview, questions concerning your qualifications, experience, and communication abilities will be asked in addition to the main focus on your leadership abilities and experience. You will be asked to list your advantages and disadvantages, your past conflict resolution techniques, any challenges you may have experienced in the past and how you overcame them, non-technical activities you engage in, etc.

Tips to succeed in this round:

  • Conduct a thorough research about Atlassian
  • Prepare for behavioral interview questions
