Angular PrimeNG is an open-source framework with a rich set of native Angular UI components that are used for great styling and this framework is used to make responsive websites with very much ease. This article will show us how to use TreeTable Column Resize in Angular PrimeNG.

Angular PrimeNG Table Reorder enables the reordering of columns in the Table component. Columns can be reordered according to the user’s needs which makes the table More Interactive and user-friendly.

Syntax:

<p-table
   [value]="tableData"
   [columns]="cols"
   [reorderableColumns]="true">
<ng-template pTemplate="header" let-columns>
    <tr>
       <th *ngFor="let col of columns"
        ttReorderableColumn>
         {{ col.header }}
       </th>
    </tr>
 </ng-template>
</p-table>

Creating Angular application & Module Installation:

Step 1: Create an Angular application using the following command.

ng new appname

Step 2:  After creating your project folder i.e. appname, move to it using the following command.

cd appname

Step 3: Install PrimeNG in your given directory.

npm install primeng --save
npm install primeicons --save

Project Structure: It will look like the following:

Example 1:  Below is a simple example that demonstrates the use of the Angular PrimeNG Table Reorder, where we are making the column reorderable.

app.component.html

<h4>Angular PrimeNG Table Reorder</h4>

<p-table #myTab [value]="tableData"
                [scrollable]="true"
                [columns]="cols"
                [reorderableColumns]="true">
    <ng-template pTemplate="header" let-columns>
        <tr>
            <th *ngFor="let col of columns" pReorderableColumn>
                {{ col.header }}
            </th>
        </tr>
    </ng-template>

    <ng-template pTemplate="body"
                 let-rowData let-columns="columns"
                 let-index="rowIndex">
        <tr>
            <td *ngFor="let col of columns">
                {{ rowData[col.field] }}
            </td>
        </tr>
    </ng-template>
</p-table>

app.component.ts

import { Component } from "@angular/core";

interface People {
