Zuora Interview Experience 2022

Zuora visited our campus and the eligibility criteria are 9 CGPA without arrear till last semester.

Process Details:

• Resume Shortlisting
• Online Assessment
• Technical Round
• Managerial Round
• Call with Manager and HR

Online Assessment: As eligibility is high there were only a few people selected for the written test. The difficulty of the test is medium to high. We have one database question and two programming questions.

Technical Round: A total of 3 got selected for the Technical Round from my campus and the interview difficulty is medium.

• We were asked more questions related to Data Structures and OOPS concepts. DBMS is also important as a few basic questions will be asked over here.
• Few coding questions will be given to solve by sharing the screen. Questions include:
• Executing of Stack / Queue / Circular Queue(Maybe implementing them using linked lists / Stack with Queues etc )
• Get Max element in a stack in O(1).
• SQL Queries
• May also ask a few programming questions(May ask to solve scenario-based questions).
• We were also asked to explain the project that we have done and more questions on the topics that we are interested in.

This round lasts for an hour.

Managerial Round: In rare cases, we were asked to select a role based on our interests and performance in the technical round. But in most cases, they will select us for the SWE role.

In my case I selected SRE and the interview is different for this role compared to SWE. This round lasted for an hour and we were asked to explain our project in depth. More questions on Networking(Network Protocols, Subnets, IP address, Routing ) and Cloud(AWS) as the role is related to it & SQL is a must for this. Scenario-based questions are also asked in this round, but this interview will be more interesting as we will be answering behavioral questions along with technical questions. Initially, we were asked more about ourselves and dived into technical concepts. No live coding in this round and more conceptual things were asked. It was a good and pleasant interview compared to previous ones. We will also get some support from the interviewer if we are stuck.

Call with Manager and HR: At last, I received a call from my HR after a week that was selected for the next round, where I need to talk to the manager that we are going to work with. It’s like a telephonic interview where he asks about our interests and asks a few questions about the area where the team is working on. It was a short meeting and it went well.

After a week, I received a call from HR and announced that I was selected.

This was the whole interview process and it’s not too difficult to crack a bit of patience and practice can grab this offer.
