What is an XAPK File?

The XAPK File is an improved format of APK files, It is a special format where any application is present in the zip compressed format. If you can open the XAPK File, you will find two kinds of elements. One is the application with the .apk extension. And another is one folder Opaque Binary Blobs (OBB) where the relevant information is saved. Many applications from third-party sources can be downloaded in the ZXAPK Format.

Steps to Install XAPK on Android

Step 1: Hold down the XAPK app to get some options. Select the Rename option & change the file format to the ZIP Format.

Step 2: Now, install the Application RAR from the Google Play Store to open ZIP Files.

Note: you can try different methods to unzip zipped Files on Android.

Step 3: In the RAR application, select the ZIP Folder & click on the Extract option present on the top side.

Step 4: Click on the Browse option to choose the Destination Folder where the ZIP file will get extracted & click OK.

Step 5: When you enter into the Extracted Folder, you will find a Folder OBB inside the Android folder. Copy that folder.

Step 6: Now, follow the path Internal storage > Android > OBB & paste the copied folder there.

Step 7: Now, again come to that Extracted Folder & tap on the APK Name. It will start the normal installation process.

Hence, we have successfully installed the XAPK File on the Android System.
