Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk looked unimpressed when United States (US) President Joe Biden left out Tesla while writing a thank you note to the automobile sector’s prominent companies on Twitter for their contribution to the economy and job creation.

The US president lauded Ford and General Motors (GM) mentioning their achievements and the number of jobs they have created. He said that Ford is making an investment of $11B to build electric vehicles, creating over 11 thousand jobs, and GM’s investment of $7B in order to build electric vehicles, creating 4 thousand jobs in Michigan.

Biden tweeted,

“Ford is investing $11B to build electric vehicles creating 11,000 jobs across the country. GM is making the largest investment in its history – $7B to build electric vehicles, creating 4,000 jobs in Michigan.”

Unpleased by the President’s tweet, Musk replied and claimed that his automobile company has created over 50 thousand jobs in the US while building electric vehicles. He also stated that Tesla is making more than double investments than the giants of the automobile giants mentioned by the president. Towards the end of the Tweet, the Tesla CEO, in brackets, addressed the person running the Twitter handle of President Biden and stated that the information is for the person, ‘controlling’ the account.

Musk tweeted,

“Tesla has created over 50,000 US jobs building electric vehicles & is investing more than double GM + Ford combined. [fyi to the person controlling this twitter]”

As usual, Musk’s tweet caught the eyes of social media users who poured it with several engagements in the form of likes, retweets, and replies. While Biden’s tweet could only get 39.3K likes and 4,506 retweets, Musk’s tweet gained over 268.3K likes and 40.2K retweets.

Meanwhile, a Twitter user wondered and seemed interested in knowing whether Elon Musk handles his Twitter handle himself.

“Just so everyone knows, you’re the only one who controls your Twitter right?” wrote the user.

In reply, Musk said,

“Well, I do have multiple personality disorder, but they’re all technically in the same head.”

However, it is difficult to speculate whether the Tesla CEO was joking or he actually have a mental disorder. Notably, in May 2021 during an event, Musk revealed that he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.

Elon Musk is quite popular on the microblogging site where keeps on posting tweets that get viral. He keeps on posting updates related to his life, his opinions on issues, and currently, he is responding to the plea of help from Ukraine with activating his broadband services of Starlink.
