Arlong Park Arc is still one of the greatest arcs of the show. It gave everyone a taste of how legendary and exciting the show could be. The arc was so popular that the live-action remake decided to use it as an inspiration for their first season. Arlong is also the first ever formidable villain the Straw Hats faced.

The arc was built upon the heartbreaking torture and abuse Nami had to go through by the Arlong Pirates. When the crew found out about this, they decided it was time to take care of Arlong and his crew. They attacked the Fishman and his crew in their home base, the Arlong Park. The fight went on for a long time and ended with Luffy destroying the tower and burying Arlong under it.

The Marine had Portgas D. Ace was arrested and imprisoned in the Marine headquarter at Marineford and Whitebeard along with some more pirates attacked the headquarters to free Portgas D. Ace. The Chief Warden of Impel Down was angry at Luffy for being the first person to break into his ultra-secure prison. Out of despise, he unleashed the full might of his Doku Doku No Mi devil fruit. In this fight, the fans witness Sanji not just fighting an enemy but his past as well.

As he fights the Queen, we can see Sanji question himself and his humanity. There are moments where he is worried that he will become a weapon of science without any morality to guide him through the rights and wrongs. Armed with a small sword, Mihawk absolutely knocked out Zoro without breaking a sweat. During the entirety of the fight, Zoro, even with 3 swords, was unable to land a single blow on Mihawk. Even after giving his best, Usopp was no match to Luffy’s physical prowess as well as combat experience. The match ended with Usopp on the ground completely destroyed by one of his closest friends.
