TCS Interview Experience 2023

I applied for TCS NQT 2023 on 8 July 2022.

The test pattern of NQT

• Aptitude 25 questions (Moderate)
• Reasoning 30 questions (Easy to moderate)
• Verbal 25 questions (Easy)
• Programming Logic 10 questions (Moderate)

After this, there is a second section that contains-

• Advanced Aptitude 10 questions (Moderate to hard)
• Advanced Verbal 10 questions (Moderate)
• Coding Question 1 (easy)
• Coding Question 2 (Moderate)

Can’t Switch between the two sections.

After Clearing NQT Test 2nd round is the Interview

TR+MR+HR Round (Approx 55 minutes) – 13 October 2022

Questions asked were:

• Introduce Yourself
• Asked further questions about the projects that I did.
• Asked questions about the skills that I mentioned in my resume like-
• JavaScript
• Postman
• CSS
• Data Science
• Then the interviewer asked about the programming language I am comfortable with I said java
• He asked some basic questions from java OOP such as 
• What is an object?
• Explain constructors. 
• Types of constructors.
• Constructor overloading and overriding.
• Use of this keyword with the constructor.
• What are access modifiers and their types?
• What are global Variables?
• What are local Variables?
• What is exception handling? Types of exception handling.
• What is ArrayList?
• What is LinkedList?
• Difference Between ArrayList and LinkedList.
• What are the different SQL constraints?
• Why are constraints used in SQL?
• What are Joins?
• Explain all types of joins.
• What are indexes?
• What is a Stored procedure?
• What is a Trigger?
• After this MR Interviewer asked questions
• Tell me about TCS.
• Who is the CEO of TCS?
• And some basic questions about my college experience and working in teams while doing my project.

Last was the HR interviewer.

• Asked about my Strength and weakness.
• What are your achievements?
• Do you read newspapers? which ones?
• Why do you want to join TCS?
• And at last, he asked me if I had any questions.
• Document Verification 15 October
• Joined MS teams and HR verified my documents in the meeting.

Verdict – Selected for Digital role.
