Tata1mg Interview Experience for SDE (Off-Campus)

Company Name- TATA 1MG Healthcare Solutions Pvt Ltd.

Designation: SDE

I applied for the job via LinkedIn and my resume was shortlisted.

Then the process started with a telephone round with the HR. HR asked general questions and scheduled the first round of Interviews.

There were a total of 4 rounds.

Technical Round 1:

• Introduction
• Four pillars of OOPs
• DSA question based on the array. Find the pair sum in an array equal to the given sum. The naive approach and optimized approach both were discussed. What will be the time complexity of your solutions?   
• DSA question based on LinkedList. Find the nth element from the last of a linked list. Both naive and optimized solutions were discussed. The concept of slow pointer and fast pointer were discussed.
• Explain two pointer approach 

Technical Round 2:

• What is HTTP? Difference between HTTP and HTTPS.
• How does the Internet work?
• What happens when you search for something on Google?
• Explain API.
• DSA- Find the peak element in a sorted and rotated array. Explain the approach
• DSA- Delete the last element of a LinkedList.
• What are SQL and NoSQL?
• Explain the primary key and foreign key.
• You are given a table of employees and you have to select only the second-highest salary with the name of the employee. Write SQL query for this.
• Some OOPs, OS, and Computer network-based questions were asked.

Technical Round 3:(Managerial Round)

• Introduction and hobbies.
• Tell me about your internship and your role in that. 
• What are your major projects and challenges faced?
• DSA – One question based on * pattern printing which was medium-hard on difficulty level.
• 2 Puzzles were asked- There are some flowers in a lake and it gets doubled every day. On the 10th day, the lake is completely filled with flowers. When the lake was half filled?
• SQL – GIven a scenario for which I have to design a database, tables, and different columns in the table. Define keys in the database.
• What do you know about cloud computing?
• What is data science?

Technical Round 4: (Managerial Round)

• Introduction
• Internships Discussion
• Why you switched from mechanical to Computer Science which is completely different?
• What are your strengths? I explained some, then I was asked for some examples and past experiences about the strength I mentioned.
• Behavioral questions were asked.
• What is cloud computing?  Explain different types of cloud services. 
• What is API and have you used any API during your projects?
• DSA – It was an array-based question and what is the time complexity of your solution?

There were some more Questions which are very general and behavioral and the whole process was very smooth. Currently, I am Working as SDE-Intern in TATA 1mg.

So it is obvious that I was SELECTED.
