Chainsaw Man is an adaptation of a television anime series based on a manga series of the same name. The protagonist is a young man named Denji who signs a contract with the dog-like devil named Pochita to become a devil hunter. He comes across various devils whom he has to defeat to save the innocent. This series contains many strong characters including the good and bad ones. It is up to Denji to form alliances and defeat these bloodthirsty monsters.

10. Power

She is a blood fiend which gives her the ability to control blood as sees fit. She likes to fight rather than back out from a battle. This nature of her scares her enemies most of the time. She also thinks about herself but is correct almost every time. Her full devil form is yet to be disclosed in the series.

Katana Man is a selfish character who only cares about killing Denji. He forces Denji to apologize for killing his grandfather for which Denji was not solely responsible. He proved his skills by nearly defeating Denji. But Denji was smarter and was able to defeat him sooner. If not for Denji his team would have been slaughtered by the Katana Man.

8. Aki Hayakawa

• Appearance: Medium length black hair usually tied in a knot, blue eyes.

• Personality: Stoic, mature, soft hearted
• Abilities: Could summon future devil and precognition

Aki Hayakawa is in contract with three powerful devils which are Fox, Curse and Future devil. It is because of this, he is powerful and skilled and possesses many unique abilities. He has been a very powerful person since the start of the series and has proven to be one of the strongest characters in the series.

7. Reze

• Abilities: Creates blasts which causes massive explosion, speed

At first, Reze is shown as a caring and kind girl who develops a crush on Denji. But in later part of the series she was found to be manipulative and acted to be caring to achieve her mission. Her looks may deceive anyone. Unlike her looks which shows she is too beautiful to hurt anyone, she is actually a powerful devil who plans to take down Denji.

6. Santa Claus

• Abilities: Doll creation by adding emotions into puppets to make it look like a human.

Santa Claus’ identity is not fixed and is currently known to be a woman in the series so far. She is the main antagonist of the International Assasiantion Arc. Her main power is to create dolls. She can turn anyone into her minions by a simple touch and can give them orders. She can even make her consciousness jump from one doll to another which kind of makes her an immortal.

5. Makima

Though Makima is shown as a caring, smiling person throughout the series, she is a devil. Her resemblance is closer to human and she keeps it a secret from her juniors that she is actually a devil. She can manipulate and control both humans and animals to form a devil contract with her. She encounters Denji and he eventually becomes her human pet.

4. Gun Devil

The gun devil is one of the major devils that even Makima is afraid of. The devil’s body consists of various known rifles such as AK-47, M16A1, MK18, and M4 Carbines and its head has a barrel of M1911. Several nations made gun laws strict after this devil killed around 1.2 million people in just five minutes. It terrorized people anywhere it went.

3. Hell Devil

• Appearance: Mostly in the form of centaur but does not have a featured head, its mouth is always wide open.

It has not yet been released in the anime series but it made its debut in maga in chapter 63. In the manga it is shown as a centaur with no definite shape and is covered in flames all over. Not much about the hell devil is described but it surely is a powerful devil who can stay in the list of top 10. He needs a little blood to heal himself when he is injured in a battle.
