About the Institute

Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, a premier institute of the region was established by Late Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Scindia on November 1, 1960 with a donation from the Gangajali Trust fund. The Institute started with a B.E. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering. Now the Institute offers 9 full-time undergraduate programs leading to a degree in Bachelor of Technology and 8 full time Post Graduate Courses (5 ME/M.Tech., MCA, MBA, And M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry) in the areas of Engineering, Science, and Management. It is an autonomous institute, which is Grant in Aid by the full-time of Madhya Pradesh and managed by the Maharaja Jiwaji Rao Education Society chaired by Hon’ble Shrimant Jyotiraditya M. Scindia. The college campus is spread over an area of 85 acres of lush green land with natural surroundings.
