Embarking on my journey at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management was an unexpected turn of events. Initially aiming for Computer Science, I found myself admitted into the Information Science Engineering branch through KCET round 3. Disappointed by the cutoff results, I was unsure of what to expect from this new chapter.

To my surprise, I soon discovered that the Information Science Engineering branch at Sahyadri offered more than just a second choice. It boasted a robust curriculum, cutting-edge research opportunities, and a track record of impressive placements, surpassing even those of the coveted Computer Science branch.

Reflecting on my journey, I couldn’t be more grateful for the serendipitous turn of events that led me to Sahyadri College. What began as an uncertain step into the unknown had blossomed into an enriching and fulfilling experience, filled with newfound opportunities and friendships.
