# Python | Numpy np.hermder() method

With the help of `np.hermder()` method, we can differentiate hermite series by using `np.hermder()` method.

Syntax : `np.hermder(series, m)`
Return : Return the coefficient of differentiated series.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using `np.hermder()` method, we are able to get the differentiated series coefficient of hermite series by using this method.

 `# import numpy and harmder ` `import` `numpy as np ` `from` `numpy.polynomial.hermite ``import` `hermder ` ` `  `series ``=` `np.array([``2``, ``0.3``, ``4``, ``0.5``, ``6``]) ` `# using np.harmder() method ` `gfg ``=` `hermder(series, m ``=` `1``) ` ` `  `print``(gfg) `

Output :

[0.6 16. 3. 48.]

Example #2 :

 `# import numpy and harmder ` `import` `numpy as np ` `from` `numpy.polynomial.hermite ``import` `hermder ` ` `  `series ``=` `np.array([``1``, ``2``, ``3``, ``4``, ``5``]) ` `# using np.harmder() method ` `gfg ``=` `hermder(series, m ``=` `2``) ` ` `  `print``(gfg) `
