# Python | Numpy np.hermeval() method

Last Updated : 06 Dec, 2019

With the help of `np.hermeval()` method, we can evaluate the hermite series on x, where s is defined in the `np.hermeval()` method.

Syntax : `np.hermeval(x, series)`
Return : Return the evaluated hermite series.

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using `np.hermeval()` method, we are able to evaluate the hermite series on x by using this method.

 `# import numpy and hermeval ` `import` `numpy as np ` `from` `numpy.polynomial.hermite ``import` `hermeval ` ` `  `series ``=` `np.array([``1``, ``2``, ``3``, ``4``]) ` ` `  `# using np.hermeval() method ` `gfg ``=` `hermeval(``2``, series) ` ` `  `print``(gfg) `

Output :

22.0

Example #2 :

 `# import numpy and hermeval ` `import` `numpy as np ` `from` `numpy.polynomial.hermite_e ``import` `hermeval ` ` `  `series ``=` `np.array([``1``, ``2``, ``3``, ``4``]) ` ` `  `# using np.hermeval() method ` `gfg ``=` `hermeval([[``2``, ``3``], [``5``, ``6``]], series) ` ` `  `print``(gfg) `

Output :

[[ 22. 103.]
[523. 910.]]
