Publicis Sapient Interview Experience for Internship

1st Round (ONLINE MCQ)

1. The First Round was the online MCQ, and the test on their own computers only because the camera needed to open we took the test in the Labs of Campus the Campus itself provided us with the internet although the Striciness of the test was severe the Publicis Sapient was saying if any another face comes was during the test will get auto-submitted.
2. There were aptitude and reasoning questions, and the level was easy – medium if you have done a little bit of aptitude or reasoning it will be easy for you the time was 40 minutes the questions were 22 the rest 8 were of Coding MCQ the output, some syntax or some sort of terms regarding the language which you have chosen before starting the test they give choice to you for giving the test the choices were C++, Java, Python.
3. After the aptitude the coding test starts it was of 40 minutes you have to write the code in Java or in Java only two languages were allowed and Iof have written the code in Python the code was damn easy the basic

• The First question was Binary To Decimal
• The Second Question was Factorial of a Number

  The total Students taking the test may be around 300
  The Shortlisted were only 34 students and I was there in it.

2nd Round ( TECHNICAL)

The Second Round was the Technical interview the interview happened in their Office my interview happened at the Gurgaon office and my reporting time was 10:00 am.

• The Technical Interview lasted for 1 hour it started with the introduction and from the introduction, the interviewer started asking questions from me
• The Questions asked of me were -> Oops, Linked list, array, Function overloading, overriding, virtual functions, SDLC, STLC, from my resume the Projects were asked and they also asked us about our Studies and CGPA.
• He has given me the 4 coding questions to do on the paper the questions were:

1. Swap of two numbers without a third variable
2. The reversed string without reversing the special character
3. The 3rd was found if the string contained any vowels or not
4. Implement Operator Overloading by adding two complex numbers.

• The Only interviewer who asked me, The networking questions were Router, switch, hub, and OSI model ( Literally Igave hadn’t prepared the networking but still I have the answer that I know )

I have done all the coding questions I got stuck in 1st because I forgot the approach but at last, I solved it and I have explained all my approaches to him.
Many more questions were there that were I didn’t remember currently some were from testing tools
The Interviewer gave me the feedback by himself he had written the 10 points about me and I was worried that I was rejected in my mind, he said your concepts were good in some you have theoretical knowledge try to get practical knowledge on it also
After 15 minutes the hr said you are selected for the Core Value Interview.

3rd Round ( CORE VALUE OR MANAGERIAL)

The Third Round of me was taken after the 1 hour because of other students and the lunch break

• The third round was the managerial round we had to talk to the manager this round was not technical although he asked me about the projects from my resume I am the winner of SIH so he asked me about it and some of my projects were live so he saw that and my best app was live in apple store and play store which has more than 10k downloads in play store and 20k in apple store so he downloaded it and used in front of me
• He asked me how you learn things and which type of person you are like this he asked questions.
  Then he asked me some situational questions as well and he gave situations where you have to tell your thoughts or how you solve them this depends on your mind and questions but it held fine.

After the 5 minutes, HR Congratulated me and said you have been selected.

Tip – Try Your Best and prepare well not just theoretical but practical.
