Round: 01

The first round was an online test that was conducted on the Hire Pro platform which contained 6 different sections ranging from aptitude, English, technical, coding and DBMS. The test duration was 2 hours. The coding section consisted of two questions. The first question was based on arrays and the second one was based on string which could be solved by dynamic programming. I was able to do the first one and the second one partially. Rest all the sections were of moderate level. There was a time duration in each section. Out of the 600 students who applied for this company, 300 were shortlisted based on resumes. From the test 30 students were shortlisted for the interview.

Round: 02

The second round was a technical round which lasted for about 1 hour. The interview started with my introduction and discussion of a few of the projects mentioned in my resume for about 15 minutes. Later on, he moved to the DSA part where he asked a question based on the stack for a valid parenthesis problem and the second one was to find the prime number in a range without a modulus operator. After that, he switched to DBMS where he asked me about ACID properties and then he asked three queries which were of medium level. He also inquired about clustering and indexing and how to optimize the database. He also asked a few questions on APIs, No SQL, AJAX etc.

He also asked some questions on OOPs ranging from interface to abstract classes. After that, he asked about polymorphism and inheritance. Then he asked about access modifiers with an example of each.

A few questions were on the latest technologies which you came across.

After this round, 16 were selected for the HR round.

Round: 03

The final round was an HR round for around 15 minutes, he just asked me for my details, family background, extracurriculars, higher studies, relocation and the technologies I’m interested in working on. Just after the HR round, results were announced. 14 were selected for the Internship+FTE offer.
