Odoo Interview Experience for Software Developer Intern

About The Company

Odoo is a Belgium Based Company, one of its branches is situated in Info-city, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Odoo is the software or say framework which is used to make software, applications or website. The main programming languages they focus on are Python and JavaScript. For the framework, they are using the Odoo framework.

About the Interview Process

Basically, they were hiring freshers interns for their software developer role. After completion of 6 months of internship they were going to give us, full-time job offers.

So, the interview process was divided into 4 steps.

• Online Coding Round – where candidates have to solve 4 coding questions on the Coder Byte platform. Assessment Mail was received from the company in which the link was mentioned for the coding round.
• Aptitude Test – Basic aptitude MCQ test of a total of 28 questions which we have to solve in 30 minutes. Arithmetic Aptitude, Verbal and Non Verbal Aptitude.
• English Test – Where they told us to write down the mail on the given topic.
• Technical Round – Where the recruiter asked about the college, and what internships we have done, they asked questions from Python mostly but sometimes also from SQL. And at the end they give us 2 coding questions where we have to solve it in the given time limit.

After completion of all these 4 rounds, HR interviews will be there where they will tell some basic rules and regulations and the job description.

Unfortunately, I was not selected. But if you are going for the interview at Odoo or at any other company for the Web Development Role, Software developer role or for any other development role you should have a strong grip on DSA, SQL, and JavaScript.
