The NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs on rotation basis, for admission into their MCA programme. The MCA programme is offered by 9 NITs which are Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. The admission into the MCA programme in the above 09 NITs is based on the Rank obtained by a student in the NIMCET exam only. Every year more than 45000 candidates appear for the NIMCET exam and among those, only 17-19% qualify. • English: General English that you have studied in your school life like synonyms, antonyms, passages, etc.

Give Mock Tests:

Mock tests which are a simulation of what the real exam might look like are a very essential part of any aspirant’s preparation. These tests help the candidates be well prepared for the actual exam and help them get familiarised with the question paper pattern. These tests help the candidates identify their weak topics and help them prepare more in those areas. Mock tests also help the aspirants understand how to manage their time during the exam.

Revision is the Key to Success:

No matter how easy is the topic without revision it is highly unlikely to pass this exam because the candidate would end up making silly mistakes. You should revise these 4 subjects at least 3-4 times. Last month and a half should be dedicated to revision thoroughly.
