Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology Campus Experience

As You all know very popular city in the U.P. is Meerut, and there is a college named MIET(Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology)which is quite popular in the NCR region. I spent my 4 years in it, It is an amazing college for fun and now different communities organize hackathons, events etc.

During my first year, COVID came in but they started our classes on even days as the days passed many friends came into life and the time spent with them was unforgettable, During my second year different friends were made and life passed like heaven, we go to college every day and doing fun goes to different classes and make some ultimate moments, which whenever I remember looks like why not this college life is for more years. During our third year, we went only one semester and the time became more memorable and after that, we could prepare for our placements, During the final year which is still ongoing there is nothing memorable these days are going like hell as most of the students not get placed in any company.

Talking about the college fest in 4 years only one annual fest happens, The college organization is very bad in these things, there are no fun activities, no events and last year college committee made different hackathons and events which are good for students who are enrolled in different courses but not for last year students.

Placement cells and the TPO are very bad, For the last few years placement at the college has had a decline curve, which is not good for students, placement cells are not called good companies more than half of companies that are called by placement cells are frauds.

Overall I can say Don’t take admission as it is not that MIET which was 10 years ago. Several times teacher changes in a semester are not good for students. There is no such good facility provided by the college for placement preparation.
