For the LabVantage interview, which was conducted as an on-campus drive, the entire process spanned two days.

Day 1 of the LabVantage interview process involved an online pre-placement talk, followed by a 90-minute online aptitude round. Upon qualifying for the first round, I became eligible to proceed to the next stage.

On Day 2, candidates who cleared the aptitude round were required to travel to another college for the pool campus drive. Here, a technical round was conducted, and those who qualified for the initial technical round proceeded to either a second technical round or an HR interview. Having passed the first technical round, I progressed to the second technical round and subsequently to the HR interview.

Round 1: Aptitude Round

  • Duration: The aptitude round lasted for 90 minutes.
  • Sections: It consisted of 4-5 sections, including numerical ability, reasoning, verbal ability, and a situational section.
  • Content: The questions primarily focused on numerical topics such as simple interest, compound interest, distance problems, and speed problems. The reasoning and verbal ability sections were relatively straightforward.

Suggestions: I recommend practicing on platforms like GeeksforGeeks and Indiabix to boost confidence in solving problems.

Round 2: Technical Interview – 1

  • Topics Covered: The interviewer asked questions related to Java and SQL.
  • Questions: Topics included the difference between ‘final’, ‘finally’, and ‘finalize’, an explanation of ‘public static void main(String args[])’, writing logic for a factorial of a number using recursion, and a simple SQL query using the ‘having’ clause.
  • Additional Questions: There were also questions about my projects.

Tips: It’s crucial to be thoroughly familiar with every detail of your resume.

Round 3: Technical Interview – 2

  • Topics Covered: This round focused on Java and JavaScript.
  • Focus: We discussed Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, core Java, exception handling, wrapper classes, and JavaScript.

Tip: A strong understanding of OOPs-related concepts is imperative.

Round 4: HR Interview
