Round-1

  • The first round comprised 14 MCQ questions purely on data analytics skills (Test Duration: 1 hour):
  • The questions were asked for an Excel sheet provided beforehand by the recruiter
Suggestion: I would suggest analyzing the Excel sheet beforehand as in my case, only the first cell had the date mentioned so I had to put the dates in the rest of the cells too.
  • The questions were like, for given attributes what would be the average of the x field?
  • The majority of them were easy and could be solved through Excel.
  • In my case, the recruiter told me that to be safe I should open the Excel sheet on my phone instead of changing tabs as it was mentioned that I couldn’t change tabs.
  • Suggestion: I would suggest clearing these things out beforehand because you won’t be able to perform queries on your phone

Tips: If you are familiar with SQL then upload the Excel sheet to a SQL server beforehand so that you can directly perform queries on it.

Round-2 (Learnathon)

  • I was given a questionnaire for a problem statement which was meant to replicate the work the employee would be doing after recruitment.
  • They don’t expect you to know it all, they just want someone who can handle the pressure and not give up.
  • A mentor is assigned who will clear all your doubts and help you understand the problem statement as well as the way of finding the solution.

Suggestion: Ask as much as you can it won’t hurt your chances of being recruited

  • Learn about the Product Solutions Engineer role beforehand and also all the technologies used by the company
  • Also, get to know how the product works beforehand
  • They will ask you questions too in meets
  • It is obvious, but do not use ChatGPT. Solve it all by yourselves, even when writing an email (one question asked to write an email to the merchant).

Suggestion: Get to know how an API works, it was really important in my case

Tips: Explain as much as you can and if you are using PandaS then also use graphs

Round-3 (Managerial Round)

  • Basic questions about me and what I have done till now.
  • What problems did you face in doing projects technologically wise and managing wisely too?
  • She asked me about the things I did in my learnathon and how I did them.
  • Some discussions over what technologies I know.
  • Which project do you like the most and why?
  • The interviewer read through my resume and asked me about what I did in each of my experiences and projects.

Round-4 (Team Director Round)

  • Tell me something about yourself.
  • What differentiates you from others?
  • Little discussions over my extracurricular activities are written in my resume.
  • Basic Data Structures questions as I was interested in an SDE role in the future
  • What are your future plans related to further studies?
  • Do you have any Location constraints?
  • What did you do in school?
  • Why did you pick this field?
  • She was really nice and told me how I can improve myself in many ways.

Tips: Know yourself before any interview. Be calm & answer politely.
