Last January, I had a shot at something big—a chance to interview for the Software Development Engineer (SDE) position at JUSPAY. The excitement was palpable when HR informed me about being shortlisted and what lay ahead.

Round- 1

The journey started with an online assessment round, which had three tough questions on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). I had to tackle topics like trees and graphs, which required my full attention. I managed to submit my solutions within the given 90 minutes, but some test cases didn’t pass. Doubts crept in, but a call from the HR boosted my spirits.

Round- 2

Next up was Hackathon Part A, where I faced another challenging DSA question. Despite hours of effort, I couldn’t crack all the test cases. Disappointment hit hard, but it also ignited a spark within me.

After the rejection, I found comfort in resilience. Every setback became a lesson, pushing me forward. The rejection email, though tough to swallow, became a catalyst for growth. I learned valuable lessons from this experience—like the importance of focus, time management, and efficient problem-solving. With newfound clarity, I embraced rejection as a stepping stone to success.

As time passed, my determination only grew stronger. Rejection no longer felt like a roadblock; instead, it spurred me on. In every rejection, I saw an opportunity to persevere and come back stronger. So, I continue to march forward, unafraid of rejection’s shadow. To JUSPAY, I’m grateful—for teaching me the true meaning of resilience. With each rejection, I move closer to my goals, knowing that adversity only makes me stronger.
