Growing up in Amla, nestled in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, I always felt like the big fish in a small pond. School was a breeze, and I coasted through, comfortably holding the title of the class topper. But all that changed when I left Allen Coaching Institute in Indore to tackle the JEE exam.

Suddenly, I found myself surrounded by students who lived and breathed academics, putting in a staggering 12 hours of study each day. In my first month, I was overwhelmed by the realization that I was no longer the big fish, but rather the smallest fish in a vast ocean of talent. Doubt crept in, and I began to question my abilities. Was I capable of keeping up? Did I belong here? It was in those moments of doubt that I found solace in the support of my newfound friends. They reminded me that every journey starts with a single step and that with dedication and hard work, anything is possible. Their words sparked a fire within me, igniting a determination to prove myself not only to them but also to my parents, who had invested so much faith and resources in my education.

With renewed resolve, I committed myself to rigorous study sessions, gradually increasing my endurance from a mere four hours to an impressive twelve hours a day. I delved into countless practice questions and meticulously reviewed previous years’ papers, leaving no stone unturned in my quest for success.

As the JEE exam loomed closer, I pushed myself to the limit, sacrificing sleep and comfort in pursuit of my goals. But despite my best efforts, my body succumbed to the strain, and I fell ill just before the exam. The disappointment was palpable as I received my JEE score – a mere 85 percentile. Tears flowed freely, but amidst the despair, my parents’ unwavering support became my beacon of hope. Encouraged by their words of comfort and reassurance, I summoned the courage to take another leap of faith and tackle the MHT CET exam.

To my delight, my hard work paid off, and I achieved an impressive 97 percentile. Today, as I embark on my second year at RCOEM Nagpur, I look back on my journey with a sense of pride and gratitude. It was a journey fraught with challenges and setbacks, but through perseverance and the unwavering support of loved ones, I emerged stronger and more determined than ever before. My path to RCOEM Nagpur may have been unconventional, but it is a testament to the power of resilience and the belief that with grit and determination, anything is possible.
