JEE Exam Experience

Hi, students I am a B.Tech 3rd-year mechanical engineering student of Nit Uttarakhand. This is my first gfg post about my Jee experience.

The journey of Jee started in 2019. After completing my 12th I am admitted to coaching in my hometown Varanasi. My first class was about Newton’s law of motion. I was very excited because everything the sir taught I understand quickly. Day passed and the burden of the syllabus also increased. And finally, the day came in September 2020 and I went to write my first jee mains.

Unfortunately, this attempt failed and I got 76 percentile on my first attempt. And here I tell about my mistakes which I made whole year and did not select. And how I overcome them.

Never make the following mistakes

1. I always compared myself to others, and I wasted a lot of time. So I suggest you never compare yourself to others. You are unique.
2. Every coaching gives you study material. In which a lot of questions. But the job is to solve only quality and unique problems. And understand not every problem is Unique. You focus on the type of problem and concept not just solve all problems like a day labour.”Follow the 80/20 rule.”
3. If you have any doubts go to your teacher or discuss them with your friends. Never underestimate your doubts.
4. Solve previous years’ question papers and understand the pattern.
5. The last and most important suggestion is to help in my second drop. Always make short notes of every chapter and learn them.

So after correcting all my mistakes the day came Feb,2021.

I wrote my second attempt. And I got 95 percentile. After Josaa’s counselling I was admitted to Nit Uttarakhand in the mechanical branch.

This was all about my jee experience. I tell my story because I never want my junior to make the same mistake that I made on my first attempt. So keep learning and study smart.
