Maharana Pratap Jayanti

Raja Sankranti

Raja Parba or Mithuna Sankranti is dedicated to worshipping the Indian Goddess Bhuma Devi (Mother Earth). It is a three-day festival that denotes womanhood and is largely celebrated in Odisha. The second day symbolizes the start of the solar month as per the Sanatan panchang when rain begins.

YMA Day

This day is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in India which was established on 15th June 1935. YMA stands for Young Mizo Association is a secular NGO located in Mizoram. This is a state-specific holiday (Public Holiday) in Mizoram.

Remna Ni

Remna Ni stands for “Peace Day” for the formal agreement between the Indian Government and the Mizo people to end the political mutiny and revolt an official agreement introduced on 30th June 1986 known as Mizoram Peace Accord 1986.
