HNBGU is the abbreviation for Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University ( A Central University ) is a Central University, established in 1973, located in Srinagar in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand in Northern India.

The University, nestled in the lap of Himalaya, ranges in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, is a residential cum affiliating institution of higher learning.The University has three Campuses distantly located from each other – Birla Campus with its extension at Chauras Campus Srinagar Garhwal, B. Gopal Reddy (BGR) Campus Pauri and Swami Ram Teerth (SRT) Campus Badshahithaul, Tehri.

HNBGU has three campuses and all of the campuses have its own flawless beauty of nature. All of the campuses have the lot of greenery and have very attractive sights.

Admission Experience in the University:

HNBGU, being a central university admitting the students on the basis of score of the student in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). After the declaration of the CUET result , student have to seperately registered himself/herself on the HNBGU university samarth portal for the admission. After the successful registration, you have to wait for 1-2 week for preparation of final merit list by the university in which name of the shortlisted students on the basis of cuet score is released.

After spotting the name in the merit list , physical visiting to the campus is mandatory for the document verification to the respective department in the campus. The faculty in the document verification process is humble and helpfull in nature.

After the succesfull verification of documents, got 2-3 days for submitting the 1 year fees for the course in which student will going to be enrolled.

Exictment is on another level during the admission process, some nervosness is also there as the new place, new people, new surroundings.
