Happiest Minds Interview Experience For Software Engineer

Happiest Minds arranged a placement drive in July 2023 at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology for the 2024 batch. They sought Software Engineers.

The event kicked off with a Preplacement talk, followed by an Online test on campus. This test covered Arithmetic, Logical, and Verbal skills, along with two coding questions. It focused on basic competencies, with questions on quantitative reasoning and logic. The coding part centred on strings and arrays, emphasizing core programming principles.

Technical Interview

Results were shared within a week, leading to interviews. The Technical interview focused on project execution and core Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Interviewers asked candidates to elaborate on their projects, emphasizing technological details. DSA questions included basic challenges like the Fibonacci series and string manipulation.

Candidates also faced questions on their project’s tech stack, like Machine Learning (ML) or web development frameworks, highlighting modern technologies’ importance. The evaluation aimed to assess candidates’ technical skills and their ability to explain academic and practical experiences.

Managerial round

Following the Technical interview, candidates progressed to the Managerial interview round. This stage involved inquiries about their projects, alongside some basic math puzzles focused on Arithmetic progression and school-level mathematics.

HR round

Candidates who successfully navigated this round received an email invitation for the HR round, marking the final phase of the selection process. During this stage, candidates faced typical HR questions.

Regrettably, the company did not extend offers to any candidates from the 2024 batch across colleges.
