GPA Full Form

GPA is an abbreviation used for Grade Point Average. It is a type of grading, which shows the academic performance of a student in school or college. It is in form of numerical value which reflects the overall performance of student in entire academic duration. The scale of the GPA depends on institute to institute. There are different scales, but the common ones are 1-5 or 1-10.

By seeing this GPA, we can estimate the academic intelligence of a student. The overall GPA is the average of all final marks obtained in each subject. When we are going to apply for an admission or employment in academics or organization. This GPA acts as a reflection of the candidate.

Disadvantage of GPA:

• Due to easily maintainable, some students have drop to work hard.
• It increases the competition so much because an average student can maintain a decent GPA.
• This system sometime is not accurate about the student in terms of hard work.
• With the help of research, it is found that GPA can’t tell the ability of an individual.
