The E-Grantz platform was created by the Kerala government for all students who want to complete their education with the help of a scholarship. Students can use this site to apply for numerous scholarships that are available on the website. This site caters particularly to all such students and grants scholarships to all such meritorious state students. This portal helps students in completing their education.

The main goal of creating it is to provide financial assistance to all underprivileged students. It intends to give simple scholarships to all such students who cannot afford to continue their education. As a result, students may quickly register themselves and start applying for scholarships through the website. Approximately three lakh students have received financial help through the portal as of today.

Status of the Scholarship

The E-Grantz webpage solely includes Pre-matric and Post-matriculation scholarships for students from the SC, OBC, OEC, and other economically and socially backward classes. Post-matric scholarship for the scholars belonging to SC, OBC, OEC

Academic qualification

  • Candidates pursuing post-matric courses approved by the university/board
  • The candidate must have documentation of admission under the merit and reservation quotas.

Income criteria

  • SCs and OECs have no income restrictions.
  • For candidates from the OBC category, the annual income restriction is INR 1 lakh for the 12th course, degree, post-graduation, and professional degrees.
  • For students from different socioeconomic categories, the income restriction for the 12th course, degree, post-graduation, and professional courses is INR 1 lakh.

Eligible categories

  • The candidates who belong to the categories of Scheduled castes, other eligible communities, OBCs, and other communities who are socially and economically backward including forward castes are eligible.

Eligible courses

  • Candidates seeking a degree, certificate, doctorate, higher secondary, polytechnic, postgraduate, professional, or VHSE course are eligible to apply.

Benefits of E – Grantz

E-Grantz scholarships will provide students with numerous forms of financial support per month.

For Students Belonging to SC Category

  • The stipend rate is intended for students who attend college within 8 km of their home – Rs 630.
  • The stipend is intended for students who attend college more than 8 km away from their home – Rs 750.
  • Students taking professional courses and living independently are entitled to this amount as a stipend – Rs 1500.

For Students Belonging to OBC Category

  • Students enrolling in any +2 study programme at any of the above institutions are eligible for the award – ₹160.
  • To be eligible for the grant, students must be enrolled in graduate-level or professional courses – ₹200 (Day Scholars) and ₹250 (Hosteller).
  • Students must be studying in polytechnic courses – ₹100 (Day Scholars) and ₹150 (Hosteller).

How to register for this Scholarship? Stepwise Application Process

Step 1: Students Registration

1. Candidates have to go through the Official portal: E-Grantz

2. After that on the home page click on One Time Registration to register yourself.

Step 2: Validate AADHAR

1. After clicking on one-time registration , this page will open.

2. Here students have to validate their AADHAR.

3. After validation of AADHAR, students have to register themselves by filling in all the details such as mobile number, DOB, email address, and so on.

1. After completing the registration process, candidates have to log in through the log in portal by login with their credentials.

1. After Login, the students have to complete their profiles.

2. Fill in all required details in all the given sections namely student name, aadhar number , gender, etc.

1. Students must click on ‘Apply for Scholarships – Post-Matric’ after completing their profiles.

2. A list of scholarships for which students are eligible will be displayed.

3. Applicants must first choose the scholarship for which they wish to apply and then begin the application process.

4. Fill out all of the essential information and submit all related documents.

5. At last, fill in all the details and submit the application form.

4. The display will show you information such as your application number, scheme number, name, location, date of application received, application status remarks, and everything else.
