DSEU College Campus Experience

Hello all tech enthusiasts. I completed my 10th from a small school in our city, at I was not so much aware of the field of technology although I use the internet the core concept behind these that was not knowing. At first, I decided to take the JEE examination but my parent told me to take admission in any technical course, as I am from a village area and we all know the mindset of Parents, so for a secure future, they thought to admit in any technical course. After that I also agreed and did some research work they found about the Diploma(Polytechnic) in which admission happens just after the 10th, In that, I got to know about the new University which was just opened by the Delhi government in the year that is DSEU, which offers diploma courses. After that is given the entrance and cleared the exam and finally got admission to DSEU college- “Ambdekar DSEU Shakarpur campus-1.” in a branch of Full-time diploma in Computer Engineering.

After I reached Delhi, the expectations that I had about the reality all quite different, the infrastructure, and campus of college were very nice. Before coming to Delhi I thought there would be a hostel facility but there were no such facilities so I have to take PG for my stay. My college ranking is no.2 in the overall university(DSEU) colleges ranking. Here on this campus, two courses are offered – ECE and CSE. On my campus there are various labs specifically for programming lab, hardware lab,, software lab, network lab. The best place in my college that I liked most is Library, the reason was two – first that there is AC in library and also we can study peaceful so for projects work I always go to library. The think that I like to tell is that my colllege is not so big but also we various events take place and students also participate very joyfully, the different sports activities, fest are also organised and many more.

Now I would to share my personal exprience from first year till now , after when I come as fresher then I was not so much familiar with technical terms, knowledges and more, as like others my first semester also get wasted just in exploring and deciding what to study, how to study. After that Me and my friends join clubs , In my there are different tech-club run by seniors such as – GDSC, Tezos and more, clubs and helped a lot in gaining knowldeges through different events and got to know which domain is best for me. There were another things also that syllabus of colloge and the trend of market doesnot matches a lot this I got to know after first sem. and from seniors so I decided to study by self because can just guide it cant spoonfeed anyone, so me and my friends togetherly we decided to study and then at end of third semester we had gained a lot knowledges someone in app dev., some in data analyst, cloud and more . After that we also participated the hackathons although we didnot selected but the exprience that we got was undefinable. At the begining of fourth semester we have done internship also,now I am in fifth semester. Upto now journey some of faculties and seniors have also guided us thanks to them . In collges there are also to do the assignment, practical in the one platform that helped me a lot is none othe than GEEKS FOR GEEKS(GFG), this is fact, very thank to GFG.

The environment in my college is not so good as expected by me I thought its delhi student would be serious , consious but there is not so , if talk about teachers, labs there are really useful and friedly and supportive. College fest is really joyful, and incredible activity that happen in college every year, it includes different activities such as – dance, singing, drama , and even sports. I lilke the most is tech- fest in which we can met with different technologies. Also the foods, snacks facilities are provided in fest.

If I talk about the placemet scenario in my college the we can see that it is well and good but not as best, the percentage that I can say is 45-60%. The companies that visits mostly take is ECE student and also CSE student but comparatively less. list of companies that come in past few are- MahindaraTech, IBM, etc.The package scene is likewise – 2.5- 3.0 LPA.

As now I am in fifth semester ,till now i have exprienced that I learnt a lot from this college, and this was me and my parents decision of taking admission in diploma course was best decision. Overall I would like to conclude that I got really a best college.
