The terms Interaction Design (IxD) and User Experience Design (UX Design) are frequently mentioned hand-in-hand, creating a dilemma as people go for one instead of the other and fail to see the difference between the two. They are similar but still work separately in to cover both the process and function sides of the design work. Interactive Design (IxD) together with user experience Design (UX Design) are two inseparable components in the vast field of digital design. The main purpose of consumer behavior and user interaction is to upgrade the user’s pleasure in using tech products and simultaneously they address different parts of user-product interaction. Interactive design (IxD) is a narrow specialized domain within user experience design (UX), where specialization is in the design of digital products and outputs, including websites, mobile apps, and software user interfaces. It includes the formation of both users’ interface structure and behavior to achieve smooth and successful user’ actions as well as effective usability. Interaction Designers, who are responsible for developing the interface components, the controls, and the interactions that users have with the digital product, are also in charge of this process. Mostly Interaction Design is focused on designing User Interface (UI) components and micro-interactions inside digital products that aim at a better user experience and usability. However, the User Experience Design takes the broader approach focusing on the whole user experience that starts from the first interaction and finishes with the task completion to provide such positive user experiences that will be smooth and enjoyable. The scope, the focus, and the methods is what make human interaction design different from user experience design, and the results is also different. the field of Interaction Design is very illustrative and the discipline is about designing of individual interface elements and interfaces that are visually pleasing and easy-to-use. UX Design is much broader in context as well, with the attention to user needs, behaviors, and motivations that will eventually build coherence and even meaning for the user experience.
