Online Round–

Cognizant Technology Solutions came for 3 posts for its Gen C venture, Gen-C elevate, Gen C, Gen c Next profiles,

Cognizant Shortlist us based on how we perform in our online rounds, if we score passing marks then we go to the direct interview round and the interviewer asks me easy to medium questions, as I was informed later, that they screen on the basis of which student they should pick according to the performance in their Interview.

FIRST Online Test–

The online test consists of 4 questions, 2 of them are basic questions that fall under the easy category for most students, and the other 2 consist of medium-level questions, although the online test I had 3 easy and one medium-level question, you have to complete at least 3 to get shortlisted for the interview, Also it depends also on the company how many are they looking to recruit from your institute.

Interview Round–

The interview round was fairly Moderate in Cognizant, first, the interviewer asked me to Introduce myself, and right after I was done with the introduction, I mentioned some of my College projects and my work as a freelancer so he quickly was interested in that and he asked me questions related to technology used in the particular projects and how I have done the implementations.

Although it was a pretty good discussion on projects for around 30 minutes and then he asked me to open any compiler of my choice and use the language of my choice to test my coding and data structure skills,

As said before cognizant was hiring for 3 Gen C posts, so they started from asking basic questions to really good level medium questions to choose the candidate for particular Gen C roles,

I was asked 6 questions from the data structure, 2 easy 3 medium, and 1 hard question, and that was my interview experience a month later I got a call that I was selected in gen c next, I would just like to add a crucial detail to this experience as, even those candidates who were not able to answer all interview coding questions, some of them got into gen c next position as main task of the interviewer was to know the best of our thinking ability.
