Hello everyone for the introduction part I’m currently in my 3rd year, 6th semester at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science, I’m thrilled to recount my recent adventure at the “Code Infinity” hackathon.

Code Infinity:

The buzz about this hackathon reached us during our placement training. Without hesitation, my three teammates and I signed up for the 24-hour coding marathon, held at Malla Reddy Group of Institutions from February 28th at 9 AM to March 1st at 9 AM.

Day-1:

February 28th was a whirlwind of excitement. After grabbing our ID cards, we gathered in the seminar hall for the grand kick-off. The anticipation was palpable as we were assigned our workspace by 10:30 AM. Our nerves kicked in as we presented our idea — leveraging Machine Learning to predict crucial ailments like Heart disease, Diabetes, and Parkinson’s. Fuelled by passion, we delved into coding after a hearty lunch at 2:00 PM. A quick break at 5:00 PM for snacks and tea rejuvenated us, followed by an evening of camaraderie during dinner and a lively DJ night with a bonfire. Our coding spree continued until the wee hours, with a brief pause at 2:00 AM.

Day-2:

At 2:00 AM, our project was nearing completion, and the second round of evaluations ensued. With the clock ticking, we retreated to the provided hostel rooms for a brief rest around 4:00 AM. Rising at 6:00 AM, we geared up for the final sprint. After breakfast, our moment arrived at 8:00 AM for the last evaluation. Buoyed by positive feedback, we anticipated a podium finish, confident in our project’s accuracy. However, the announcement at 9:00 AM didn’t quite align with our expectations.

Though our names weren’t on the winner’s list, the hackathon gifted us with a trove of memories, new insights, and an unforgettable journey through the rollercoaster of coding fervour.

“Success is not always about winning, but rather the journey of growth and learning along the way.”
