Bugbase Interview Experience for Security Engineering

I recently had an interview at BugBase for the role of Cyber Security Engineer. Surprisingly, the Founder and CEO Dhruva Goyal, conducted my interview.

Its a 2 round interview.

First round-about kali linux,sql injection, red teaming etc.

Second round-live attack on site,Network breaching etc.

Inspite not having a background and vast knowledge in cybersecurity, I’ve dedicated time to learning various skills, including SQL injection techniques, participating in TryHackMe challenges, engaging in Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions, and exploring red teaming methodologies. It was an enriching experience that expanded my understanding of cybersecurity beyond theoretical knowledge, allowing me to delve into practical scenarios and hands-on learning opportunities. 👨‍🎓 I am particularly thankful for the learning experiences I gained during the interview. Your questions and feedback highlighted areas where I can further improve and expand my understanding of red teaming, SQL injection, and other cybersecurity concepts.
