I applied through referral for this role in January 2023, My resume was shortlisted by an employee of TO THE NEW. There were a total of three rounds Aptitude Test, a Coding Test, and a Final round Interview.

Round 1: Aptitude Test

This round was conducted on HackerRank, Which included three sections, and the difficulty level of questions was easy. It was a 30-minute round and around 30 questions were there.

The following sections were requested in the paper:

  • Quantitative – 10 questions in 10 minutes.
  • Verbal – 10 questions in 10 minutes.
  • Logical – 10 questions in 10 minutes.

Round 2: Coding round

This round was also conducted on HackerRank, Which included two questions, and the difficulty level of questions was easy-medium. It was also a 30-minute round.

1) check if a given String is Palindrome or not

2) Second Highest Element without extra space

I was able to solve both the questions, and was called for the next round i.e. interview.

Round 3: Interview Round

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Tell me about your projects
  • Tell me about your internship experience
  • What is API?
  • Have you ever tested an API using Postman?
  • Then he asked me some scenario based questions?
  • Have you done any testing in your projects? if yes please explain
  • Explain STLC and role and responsiblities in each step?
  • What is a bug?
  • Do you have any idea what actually is the role of QA and in which phase of SDLC the QA is involved?
  • A Simple decision based testing question on user login?
  • What are the four pillar of OOPs?
  • Polymorphism with example
  • Inheritance with example
  • Any questions for me

And That’s it.

The interview was around 35 minutes, Overall the interview experience with TO THE NEW was very good and the interviewer was highly cooperative.
