Nationality:

Being an Indian citizen is needed for taking the IAS exam.

Maximum Age:

The minimum age for a candidate is 21, and the most is 32. For a few groups, the minimum age is lower than for others. There is a three-year age relaxation for those in the Other Backward Classes (OBC). An additional five years of age is permissible for members of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. There is a 5-year age relaxation provision for ECOs and SSCOs.

Academic Background:

Number of Attempts:
