Amity University Campus Experience Kolkata

The campus is located in the Newtown area of Kolkata. The campus is well equipped with all the latest equipment from the labs to the ground.The best part of the university is its infrastructure.The campus is divided into various blocks such as the academic block or the main building then e block followed by the hostel block the leaf building and the sports complex. A block or the academic block is the place where all the classes for the engineering subjects takes place also all the admission related formalities are done here. Then comes the e-block which is basically the new building here the classes of the other decline takes place such as hotel Management, Fine arts, BBA, B.Com, and other courses offered by the university.

Now comes the sports complex inside the sports complex all the necessary things are their such as badminton court, basket basketball court, volleyball court, table tennis room, a huge gym with all the latest equipment and last but not the least an Olympic size swimming pool. The hostels are the best the hostel have air conditioning installed ,lifts and the best part is their room service. Now comes the academic curriculum it is almost same as the other engineering college.The college provides us on campus opportunities for placements in dream companies like Google and Amazon.

The best part is their student intake is limited unlike the other colleges who takes admission in thousand for my branch the strength is 120 only which also increases the chance of u getting placed. The worst part of the curriculum which I feel is they follow a strict 75% attendance criteria if u do not meet this then you will be not allowed to sit for you end semester examination. Personally, I feel that it is one of the best private engineering colleges in West Bengal. The seniors are very helpful they will guide you in every situation in terms of academics or the other things from the best places to eat to how to escape the classes.They will also provide you the opportunity to come up with the ideas and implement it whether be it an event or a college fest no matter how good is the infra and other things are but what really matters is supporting seniors should be their in every college.
